Essential Duties
- Drive a shuttle van.
- Communicate work assignments to drivers and monitor progress throughout the day.
- Record daily activity on a computer tablet and a written report.
- Plan vehicle movements to minimize wait times and consolidate movements.
- Troubleshoot as needed to process damaged units or units requiring special attention.
- Serve as a role model to other employees in work performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness on the shuttle van and all IAP zones.
- Promote safety and prevent on-the-job accidents.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety policies.
- Monitor and report unacceptable acts of conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED OR 1+ year continuous work experience with no more than 2 employers.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge).
- 2+ months experience in Field Department and working knowledge of specific account procedures.
- Experience using handheld scanning devices.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Ability to communicate, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Problem-solving abilities and detail orientation.
Physical Working Attributes
- Repeatedly get in and out of a vehicle during the work shift.
- Step up approximately 18 inches into an open van.
- Work is exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects, and other conditions.
