About the role

Provide shuttle and cart service for Wildhorse customers, including operating 15–30 passenger buses or vans for trips and charters away from the property. Two levels exist:

  • Shuttle Driver I – No CDL or Passenger Endorsement required; passenger count is limited.
  • Shuttle Driver II – Requires a CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  • Promote positive guest relations at all times; respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Greet guests arriving and departing in a friendly, courteous, and caring manner using personalized service.
  • Prioritize safety above all tasks: maintain clean vehicles free of slip-and-fall hazards and ensure safe entry and exit for guests.
  • Obey all traffic laws and signs to ensure the safe operation of Wildhorse Resort Casino (WRC) vehicles and guest safety.
  • Conduct routine pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections; report any damage, defects, or operational concerns. Immediately notify the shift manager if safety is impacted.
  • Fuel vehicles appropriately following established purchasing procedures and sign fuel receipts.
  • Participate in required security staff meetings and training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company facilities and special events to provide guests with accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Comply with regulatory laws, the employee handbook, department policies and procedures, and safety codes.
  • Maintain professional communication with supervisors and coworkers, including radio contact with management and other shuttle drivers.
  • Perform other transportation duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Six months of customer service experience to ensure courteous, friendly, and efficient interactions.
  • Valid driver’s license with no motor vehicle-related citations or arrest convictions in any state within the last five years (per WRC insurance requirements).
  • High school diploma or GED, or ten years of relevant experience.
  • Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Good visual and auditory acuity; ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance and attitude toward employees and guests.
  • Low-Security Gaming License clearance required.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid Class III CDL with Passenger Endorsement and valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
