Shuttle Driver/CDL

About the role

Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle; to load and unload aircraft/vehicles; to sort packages. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries
• Must be licensed for the type of equipment assigned
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Ability to work with power and hand tools
• Must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• FMCSA‑covered safety‑sensitive position; medical exam required
• Subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing (marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine, opioids)

Skills

• Ability to complete basic and recurrency training
• Licensed for assigned equipment
• Ability to maneuver heavy packages (>50 lbs) with equipment or assistance
• Proficient with power and hand tools
• Effective verbal communication in noisy, time‑sensitive environments
• English language proficiency for traffic signs and official communication
• Ability to maintain constant alertness and work safely

Pay

$23.21 – $33.93 per hour

Schedule

Monday: 6:00 am – 9:00 am; Tuesday‑Friday: approximately 5:15 am – 9:30 am
