As part of Precision Vehicle Holdings, Precision Vehicle Solutions was established in 2015 and specializes in yard management, offering a full range of vehicle processing services for origin facilities, destination ramps, and ports.
About the Role
As a key member of the Operations team, you will manage inbound vehicles with a strong focus on safety. This role requires the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and adapt to various tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles both on-site and on public roadways.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate closely with team members to maintain operational efficiency.
- Drive team members in a van to designated locations when assigned.
- Adapt to various tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors to support operational needs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of driving experience.
- Strong driving skills with an exemplary level of safety awareness, quality, and compliance.
- Proficiency in operating handheld scanners and other equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.
- Must be “insurable” while operating company-owned or controlled vehicles, free from drug or alcohol-related driving convictions or reckless driving.
Physical Demands
- Work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, work instructions, procedure manuals, and policies.
- Quickly respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals.
- Comfortably wear personal protective equipment.
- Frequently navigate a busy environment.
- Occasionally carry, lift, move, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Maintain stationary positions for extended durations as needed.
- Demonstrate visual acuity and physical dexterity essential for performing the duties associated with the role.
Schedule
This is an on-call position for 1st and 2nd shifts with start times at 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work any assigned shift, as hours and days may vary. The role requires onsite presence at Factory Zero, Hamtramck, MI.
Pay
Compensation range: $24.24 USD per hour.
