Shuttle Driver

About the role

Propark Mobility is hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time positions in Columbus, OH, with immediate start availability.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 20 years old.
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Energetic, outgoing and able to stand, run, and carry items up to 50 lbs if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and help resolve customer issues positively.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands/fingers, handling tools or controls, reaching, talking and hearing; occasional lifting/moving of objects up to 25 lbs.
• Work environment may involve exposure to weather conditions, fumes and airborne particles; noise level ranging from minimal to moderate.

Qualifications (Good to Have)

• One year or more of customer service experience.
• One year or more of experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle.

Pay

$15.00 – $17.00 per hour.
