Shuttle Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Airport Shuttle Driver to transport customers safely and efficiently to and from the airport, while delivering a top-notch welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will have strong driving and communication skills and take pride in delivering a positive first and last impression for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers with a smile.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage.
• Aid Parking Attendants in checking in customers.
• Safely transport passengers to and from the airport.
• Respond to Parking Attendants in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to traffic conditions to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Maintain a clean and well-kept shuttle vehicle.
• Promptly report shuttle-related issues (maintenance needs, accidents, damages) to management.
• Immediately report customer complaints, suspicious activity, and safety hazards to management.
• Ask customers to leave a positive review.
• Answer phones politely and professionally according to SOP.
• Assist customers with all aspects of Park N Boston, including directions, hours, shuttle schedule, rates, rewards program, and online reservations.
• Maintain the customer waiting area.
• Review reports as required.
• Monitor parking lot maintenance according to PNB standards.
• Follow parking lot safety, security protocols, and SOP.
• Assist valet attendants in cleaning the airport shuttle according to SOP.
• Occasionally vacuum and clean customer vehicles.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip shuttle inspections according to guidelines and SOP.
• Adhere to all traffic and state highway laws.
• Follow all PNB company guidelines, policies, and SOP.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous passenger transportation or shuttle driving experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Proficient in English.
• Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and airport procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
• State-certified DOT driver’s certificate permitting airport shuttle operation.

Work Environment

• Primarily operates a shuttle vehicle in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
• Requires sitting for extended periods.
• Frequent entry and exit from vehicles.
