About the Resort
Seasonal work at Big Bear Mountain Resort puts you in the heart of Southern California's premier outdoor destination. With three mountains—Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, and Snow Valley—the resort offers year-round activities, including world-class skiing, snowboarding, sledding/tubing in winter, and mountain biking, hiking, and golf in summer. Known for innovation, the resort features the most rideable terrain in Southern California, the region's only halfpipes, the highest lift-served peak (8,805 feet), and historic milestones like the first terrain park in North America (1992) and the first Winter X Games (1997). Located in the San Bernardino National Forest, the resort is owned by Alterra Mountain Company and is an Ikon Pass member destination, approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles and Orange County.
