About the role
Join Arbor Day Farm as a Shuttle Driver and help bookend each guest’s stay with a warm welcome, a safe and comfortable ride, and meaningful service.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive beginning and end to each guest’s experience by providing transportation to and from the Lincoln and Omaha airports for individual guests and groups.
- Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws, regulations, and organizational safety procedures.
- Welcome guests, answer questions about the area, Arbor Day Farm, and the Arbor Day Foundation, and help them feel comfortable throughout their ride.
- Aid guests with loading and unloading luggage and provide additional support to passengers with disabilities, young children, or other special needs.
- Help maintain company vehicles by keeping the vans clean, filling them with fuel, monitoring service lights, and occasionally taking them in for scheduled maintenance.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for hospitality, guest service, and the Foundation’s mission.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, along with a friendly, positive attitude.
- A dependable, team-first mindset and pride in following through on responsibilities.
- The ability to take direction, work independently, and adapt to changing schedules and guest needs.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to meet company insurance requirements, including being at least 25 years old.
- The ability to safely assist guests with luggage and other belongings.
- A commitment to high standards—because good enough is not good enough.

Schedule
This is a flexible position with hours based on guest transportation needs. Availability for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Eligible early-morning and late-night hours will receive a shift differential.
