About the Role
The Driver facilitates clients' transportation to and from necessary appointments at one of Promises Behavioral Health Residential Program Facilities.
Schedule
Full‑Time, Wednesday to Saturday, 8 am – 6:30 pm. On‑call availability as needed.
Responsibilities
- Transports clients per supervisor's directives (for court, ancillary services, etc.).
- Follows emergency procedures exactly to secure safety and welfare of clients.
- Notifies appropriate clinical staff member or Executive Director of any client behavior that could create a risk to the clients' wellbeing or treatment success.
- Completes and submits all necessary forms and documentation.
- Serves as back‑up for residential assistance as needed.
- Assists with set‑up and take‑down for all special events and functions.
- Pick up mail daily.
- Provides tours for after‑care on weekends.
- Transports clients to special meetings when needed.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Class F endorsement (or willing to obtain).
- Clear driving record.
- Current automobile insurance.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or obtain within state‑mandated time frame after hire).
