John Knox Village is a not‑for‑profit Life Plan Retirement Community offering independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care to more than 1,000 residents. Our scenic 70‑acre campus in Pompano Beach is conveniently located near major highways and transportation options.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers
- Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle
- Secure seat belts and mobility devices as needed
- Provide friendly, courteous, and attentive service
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, well‑kept vehicle interior and exterior
- Anticipate and respond to resident needs during transport
- Support a positive, resident‑centered environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- CDL license with passenger endorsement
- Safe driving record
- 3+ years of passenger driving experience
- Experience transporting passengers in wheelchairs
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Exemplary customer service skills
Qualifications
