About the role

The Shuttle Driver plays a crucial role in Towne Park, ensuring guests are transported safely and efficiently to and from various locations. This position requires a friendly, courteous, and professional approach, along with the ability to manage vehicle maintenance and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests to and from the hotel, hospital, casino, and local areas in a safe and efficient manner.
• Learn and remember pick-up and destination points, and communicate with guests and staff professionally.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle before each shift, reporting any issues to the manager.
• Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick-up, and ensure guest confidentiality.
• Operate a vehicle that seats up to 15 people, including the driver.
• Use specialized equipment like wheelchair lifts when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and DOT endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of local attractions and transportation routes.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Pass a criminal background check, MVR, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Completion of the Wheelchair Safety Training course.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in reading and writing.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Pay

The hourly base pay range for this position is $19.25-$21 per hour.

Schedule

The work schedule for this position is 5:15am-1:15pm Monday-Friday.
