Shred Working Lead 2nd Shift

Job Duties

• Expected to be a leader on the floor to support and encourage the team as well as hold the team accountable to company policies and department efficiencies.
• Expected to enforce employee and food safety policies with the team.
• Operation of all shred equipment, including, but not limited to, KD infeed belts and robots, cubers, shredders, cellulose dispensers, scales, Hayssens, Delkor’s, palletizers and computers.
• Operation of all conveyor belts and delivery of product through the line including the brine flume.
• Operation of Metal Detectors and documentation.
• Accurately completes required paperwork on a daily basis.
• Track, record, and minimize materials usage.
• Track and record dept downtime.
• Understand and perform cip / clean up as needed.
• Learn the brine process, understand the flow of product from the cheese plant, reduce and minimize brine water from going down the drain.
