Showroom Sales Specialist
About the role
At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com), we are looking for a Showroom Specialist located in Kent, WA, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.
Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent customer experience to all visitors and assist with the day-to-day operations of the Center Showroom.
- Daily task includes guest relations, customer service assistance, training, and events coordination.
- The goal is to identify and generate quality sales leads and then partner with the local sales team, which allows them to follow up on the leads and convert into customers, projects and sales.
- SSR objective is to drive the walk-in or appointment visitor closer to a sale, promoting the cross and up-sales; and proactively organize events (partnering with the rest of the sales team) at the Center that are geared toward educating potential customers about Cosentino’s materials and their applications.
- An SSR plays a key role on enhancing our showrooms within targeted local industries (builders, architects, designers, commercial, etc.) and key industry organizations (AIA, ASID, IIDA, NKBA, etc).
- An SSR proactively reach out to clients to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- The ability to network and find business through events hosted at our Showrooms are an integral key part of this role.
- As responsible of giving the best customer experience to walk-ins visitors must promote a high customer satisfaction survey response.
- Sales Responsibilities: Welcome and engage every customer and provide the best customer experience, with the goal of developing long-term relationships and fostering brand loyalty, and promoting customers to respond to Cosentino’s customer survey. Assist all walk-ins & customers with appointments that arrive at the showroom. Always promote cross and up-sales with customers. Provide support face-to-face in the showroom or over the phone and via email to better help customers understand the benefits of the Cosentino brand. Support end users checking stock for materials when requested, as well as highlighting possible stock issues that may arise. Work with General Manager and sales team to increase traffic within the Center and leads. Properly register walk-ins, visits, campaigns, and leads in SalesForce. Follow-up on lead conversion with the sales team. Develop and build relationships with key architects and designers in the area.
- Organization and Administration Responsibilities: Filter the leads of the Center via phone calls and only forward the ones with potential. Organize and plan events in advance, coordinating content and making sure we have qualified attendees. Responsible for execution of events: invitations, catering, logistics, publicity, mailing and ensure it correct entry into SF. Ensure daily entry of all customer visits in Salesforce. Ensure the showroom is always in perfect condition: this includes, but is not limited to the cleanliness of all furniture, equipment, supplies, and placing marketing materials. Also for the update of discontinued colors on displays. Manage and maintain the showroom: this includes ordering and stocking supplies needed, maintaining equipment, placing marketing materials, and attending visitors daily and during events. Manage the administrative tasks required for showroom and events suppliers.
Requirements
- Professional Experience Required: 4+ years of building materials / construction / commercial projects sales experience, 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within all faces with commercial industry projects, 1+ year of business development.
- Desired: Stone fabrication or distribution knowledge, Building materials experience, Stone fabrication or distribution experience.
- Academical Background Required: High School / GED.
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is between $23-26 per hour.

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability and Basic Life and Supplemental Insurance. You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month. Paid time off: Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company’s policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
