Showroom Sales Associate Part-Time (Sausalito)

The Sausalito showroom serves a diverse clientele, including design professionals, chefs, and casual shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers, asking thoughtful questions and making product recommendations
• Process sales, returns, and other transactions accurately
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom by restocking merchandise and keeping the space clean
• Manage priorities in a high-traffic retail environment, completing opening and closing tasks
• Share customer feedback, inventory needs, and other key information with the Showroom Manager and retail team

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a design-led brand
• Ability to meet and exceed team sales goals
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities in a high-traffic retail environment
• Interest in ceramics, design, home furnishings, and other creative pursuits
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of mobile POS systems (Shopify preferred)
• High comfort level with technology (Mac OS, iPad/laptop, Google Workspace, and ecommerce searches)

Who You Are

• Ability to lift, reach, and grasp up to 30 lbs of ceramic dinnerware and to load/unload bins of merchandise
• Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive hand and arm movements associated with stocking, wrapping products, and processing transactions

Work Environment/Hours/Compensation

• Based in the Sausalito showroom
• Part-time position offering 14 hours per week, with potential for additional hours during peak times
