Shot/Bead Blaster

About the role

We are looking for experienced Shot/Bead Blaster to join our busy and expanding business. The ideal candidate will have experience within the Structural Steel or Rail industry and be familiar with the different types of blast media. You will also need to be familiar with the maintenance aspect of the blasting equipment. Full‑time positions are based at our Main Site in Derby.

Responsibilities

• Shot/Bead Blasting parts to customer specification.
• Reading drawings to ensure areas are masked off prior to blasting.
• Maintaining of blasting equipment.
• Working to deadlines to achieve customer expectations.
• Reporting to senior management.
• Conforming to quality assurance and health & safety standards.
• Completing the relevant documentation for each task.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Shot/Bead Blasting and time served for qualifications.

Schedule

8.5‑hour shift (07:30‑16:30) Monday to Friday, with overtime available.
