Shot/Bead Blaster

Full-time position based at our main site in Derby.

Responsibilities

• Shot/Bead Blasting parts to customer specification.
• Reading drawings to ensure areas are masked off prior to blasting.
• Maintaining Blasting equipment.
• Working to deadlines to achieve customer expectations.
• Reporting to senior management.
• Conforming to Quality assurance and Health & Safety standards.
• Completing the relevant documentation for each task.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Shot/Bead Blasting.
• Time-served qualifications.
• Experience within the Structural Steel or Rail industry.
• Familiarity with different types of blast media.
• Familiarity with maintenance of Blasting equipment.

Schedule

8.5-hour shift (07:30–16:30), Monday to Friday with overtime available.
