Short-term Substitute: Special Education Paraeducator - Autistic Support

Job Overview

The special education paraeducator assigned to an autistic support classroom provide instructional and behavioral support to students, in addition to, assisting with daily personal skills. The paraeducator will work at the direction of the teacher, and is under the general supervision of the building Principal and Director of Special Education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, college degree preferred
• Demonstrated or prior experience working with children
• Excellent organization and communication skills

Pay

• Minimum starting rate of $16.97 - $19.51 per hour – credit may be given for relevant experience
