About the Role

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), you will provide recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment, including medications as prescribed by the physician. You will ensure the safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Tree House North is a short-term crisis residential program collaborating with the Orange County Health Care Authority (OCHCA). It assists individuals in Orange County experiencing acute mental health crises, helping them stabilize without requiring inpatient or higher levels of care. The program is staffed by a multidisciplinary team focused on stabilization and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medical treatment and medications as prescribed by a physician.
  • Provide safe, effective, and efficient direct care in alignment with established policies and standards.
  • Use a company vehicle to transport clients to appointments and groups.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure.
  • Current CPR/BLS certificate.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • CPR, First Aid, and CPI (hands-on course) certification required on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care; must maintain certification throughout employment.
  • Valid and current driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver, and willingness to use a company vehicle for client transportation.
  • Successful completion of a post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions check, and degree or license verification.
  • If the position requires driving, a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at the time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $28.43 - $35.13 per hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges, and the assigned range will depend on the geographic location where the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Shift differentials for hourly staff: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for NOC Shift.

Weekend shift differentials for hourly staff: 5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend NOC Shift.

Schedule

  • Short-Hour | AM Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM on Sundays and Mondays.
