Requirements
- Perform general labor duties supporting dredging and marine construction operations
- Auxiliary tasks include dredge pipeline setup, movement, and maintenance
- Assist with pressure washing, site cleanup, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
- Communicate regularly with the foreman and superintendent
- Support additional construction and project needs as directed
Qualifications
- Entry-level and experienced candidates welcome
- Experience in construction, marine work, landscaping, or heavy labor preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license required
- Open to working out of town for up to 45 days at a time, including some weekends and holidays
- Equipment operating experience is a plus
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Physically demanding work for extended periods
- Comfortable working on or around water, including barges, boats, and dredging equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk for long periods
- Comfortable working in muddy, wet, and uneven terrain
- Ability to work extended hours during active projects, typically up to 80-85 hours per week, including weekends
