Shoreman

Requirements

• Perform general labor duties supporting dredging and marine construction operations
• Auxiliary tasks include dredge pipeline setup, movement, and maintenance
• Assist with pressure washing, site cleanup, and equipment maintenance
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
• Communicate regularly with the foreman and superintendent
• Support additional construction and project needs as directed

Qualifications

• Entry-level and experienced candidates welcome
• Experience in construction, marine work, landscaping, or heavy labor preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license required
• Open to working out of town for up to 45 days at a time, including some weekends and holidays
• Equipment operating experience is a plus

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Physically demanding work for extended periods
• Comfortable working on or around water, including barges, boats, and dredging equipment
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk for long periods
• Comfortable working in muddy, wet, and uneven terrain
• Ability to work extended hours during active projects, typically up to 80-85 hours per week, including weekends
