SHOPIFY WEB DEVELOPER

Position Duties / Responsibilities

• Ongoing development of ecommerce solutions, APIs, and system integrations within the Shopify ecosystem
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain new software features and enterprise tools
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable systems
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise and accountability
• Partner with outside vendors to design and implement third-party integrations across business systems
• Contribute to the strategic technical direction of Z SUPPLY’s digital platforms

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional Shopify development experience required
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Liquid
• Strong front-end design and user experience sensibility
• Proven ability to rapidly learn and implement new technologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building custom Shopify apps and API integrations
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails (strong plus)
• Experience architecting scalable ecommerce solutions and business intelligence systems
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Docker, etc.)
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
