Shopify Full Stack Developer

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, customize, and optimize ecommerce solutions
• Support the delivery of reliable and scalable Shopify experiences
• Technical ownership across storefront development, application architecture, integrations, and ongoing platform improvements
• Develop and maintain custom Shopify and Shopify Plus themes
• Build and support Shopify applications, custom features, and backend services
• Integrate Shopify platforms with third-party systems
• Optimize ecommerce platforms for performance, SEO, accessibility, user experience, and conversion improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Test, deploy, and maintain features while ensuring quality, scalability, and compliance with project requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Support Shopify POS initiatives

Requirements

• Experienced full-stack developer with strong Shopify expertise
• Proven experience building Shopify themes, custom applications, and ecommerce solutions
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end development practices
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Node.js, Remix, or similar backend frameworks
• Familiarity with Shopify Admin GraphQL API, Storefront API, REST APIs, Webhooks, App Bridge, and Polaris
• Experience integrating Shopify with enterprise applications and third-party platforms
• Understanding of ecommerce best practices, including SEO, performance optimization, accessibility, UX, and conversion rate optimization
• Experience using Git, version control workflows, pull requests, and code review processes
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a dynamic environment
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong documentation and collaboration abilities
