Shop Technician - Mechanic

About the role

At EquipmentShare, we’re hiring a Shop Technician (Small Engine Mechanic) at our rental facility in Milwaukee, WI. We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of transforming the construction industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders
• Track machine service intervals
• Order parts
• Diagnose issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models
• Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed
• Absorb and deliver equipment and parts
• Stay informed about OSHA requirements (preferred)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Active applicable state class driver's license
• Construction knowledge and background preferred
• Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Pass a 10-panel drug screen

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour, plus overtime after 40 hours per week.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of on-call scheduling.
