Shop Parts Coordinator

Job Summary

F&G Mechanical seeks a Shop Parts Coordinator. Reports directly to the Facility/Shop Manager; assists with the maintenance of the warehouse and supporting the Fire Protection Department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Aid with the loading and unloading of truck deliveries.
• Pull material orders as requested by the field.
• Restock bins and racks with returned materials from job sites.
• Maintain and clean all common areas in and around the facility.
• Distribute all UPS and FedEx deliveries as received to all departments.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facility/Shop Manager.
• Operate a forklift.
• Make small deliveries in pickup truck.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Computer Skills, a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parts department, preferably in a trade-related industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Fire Protection pipe, valves, and fitting, equipment, tools, etc., a plus.
• Able to lift and carry boxes, materials, etc., approximately 40 pounds or more in weight.
• Able to walk on uneven, slippery surfaces, and climb ladders and stairs as required.

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds.
