Shop Leader - Fishtown

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations from opening through closing while maintaining CYM's high standards
• Create memorable guest experiences by modeling exceptional hospitality and resolving guest concerns with care
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members through VIBE Ups, in-the-moment feedback, and hands-on training
• Proactively solve problems, adapt quickly, and make thoughtful decisions that keep the shop running smoothly
• Maintain cash handling procedures, process transactions accurately, and complete required financial reporting
• Partner with your General Manager and fellow leaders to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing shop culture
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop, including equipment, storage, repairs, linens, waste management, and deep cleaning
• Place vendor orders when needed to ensure inventory and prep levels support daily operations
• Jump into Front of House or Kitchen Supervisor responsibilities during assigned shifts to lead by example and support the team wherever needed

Requirements

• You have 1-2 years of leadership experience as a Shift Leader, Key Holder, or similar restaurant leadership role
• You love staying active, keeping cool under pressure, and you’re excited to take ownership over a busy shift
• You grasp the importance of hospitality and have integrity and take pride in doing the right thing for others, even when nobody's watching
• You see this as a team sport without big egos and jump in when a teammate is in need
• You think committing a regular guest’s order to memory, creating a secret handshake or something as simple as remembering a guest’s name is pretty pretty pretty cool
• You are a morning person with weekend availability and like to reserve your evenings to spend how you please!

Qualifications

• You have (or are willing to obtain) a ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification

Pay

Hourly pay plus generous tips = $20/hour, plus tips. With tips, your pay is likely to range from $24-26/hour
