About the role
Shop Helpers function as part of the Service Tech team and are responsible for assisting technicians, retrieving and delivering parts, cleaning and preparing equipment for delivery, and maintaining shop cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and deliver parts to assist technicians with repair projects
- Assist technicians by providing repair and maintenance to equipment through the direction of the Shop Manager
- Prepare equipment for delivery, including steam cleaning units with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record
- Ability to understand tasks and communicate effectively
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be medically capable of performing all aspects of the job with the maximum amount of safety
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds (occasionally up to 100 pounds) and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking, twisting, climbing, crawling, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, handling/fingering, and outward reaching on a daily basis
- Must be able to wear safety glasses and safety shoes
- This position is deemed a Safety Sensitive job under state medical marijuana laws

- Work indoors, outdoors, and travel to customer/vendor locations
- Encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Frequently work on equipment with potential hazards; appropriate safety equipment and practices are required
- Driving truck to and from customer locations
