About the role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, learning new skills, and contributing to the success of daily shop operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily shop operations to ensure an organized, efficient, and productive work environment.
- Load and unload materials, parts, and finished products using carts, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Support the team by preparing materials and staging work areas.
- Move and organize in-process materials throughout the facility.
- Perform basic assembly, labeling, packaging, and shipping preparation tasks.
- Help maintain a clean and safe workplace through sweeping, organizing tools, and removing scrap materials.
- Receive, identify, and properly store incoming materials and inventory.
- Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to a smooth workflow across all departments.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working in a shop environment.
- Experience with hand tools, forklifts, or shop equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
