Shop Helper

About the role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, learning new skills, and contributing to the success of daily shop operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily shop operations to ensure an organized, efficient, and productive work environment.
  • Load and unload materials, parts, and finished products using carts, forklifts, or manual labor.
  • Support the team by preparing materials and staging work areas.
  • Move and organize in-process materials throughout the facility.
  • Perform basic assembly, labeling, packaging, and shipping preparation tasks.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe workplace through sweeping, organizing tools, and removing scrap materials.
  • Receive, identify, and properly store incoming materials and inventory.
  • Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to a smooth workflow across all departments.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working in a shop environment.
  • Experience with hand tools, forklifts, or shop equipment is beneficial.
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Qualifications
