Responsibilities

• Perform precise layout and fitup for complex stainless steel weldments to meet exact project specifications.
• Execute high-quality TIG and MIG welds primarily on stainless steel materials.
• Program and operate laser cutting machinery to streamline component fabrication.
• Interpret complex blueprints and structural drawings to create accurate material takeoffs.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on finished assemblies to ensure structural and aesthetic integrity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area in strict compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in metal layout, fitup, laser programming, and welding.
• Proven expertise in TIG and MIG welding, with extensive experience working with stainless steel.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work directly from detailed engineering blueprints.
• Strong skills in performing material takeoffs accurately from technical drawings.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and precision standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior trade school completion or technical fabrication certifications.
• Experience operating automated CNC fabrication equipment and modern laser systems.
• Advanced background in industrial mechanical and custom shop manufacturing routines.

Pay

$30 to $38+ per hour (based on experience).
