Primary Responsibilities
- Good organization skills, keeping detailed records of what is done in and around the shop
- Maintaining and retrieving inventory, lifting and moving inventory
- Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins
- Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, band saw, cut off saw, belt sander, drill press, disc grinder, punch press, CNC, and skid loader if/when needed
- Weekly preventative maintenance, vehicle inspections, clean and maintain equipment
- Cutting material down to proper length per job load guide(s)
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s License/good driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Mechanical background
- Welding and CNC experience-preferred but not necessary
- Familiarity with hand tools
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of materials experience/shop, willing to train the right individual
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 70 pounds
- Performs work involving kneeling, crouching, crawling or other uncomfortable positions
