About the role

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures is seeking a Shop Apprentice to join their team. The apprentice will assist experienced technicians in various tasks such as surface prepping, disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft structural components. The position offers on-the-job training and exposure to key processes in the aerospace MRO industry, including the use of precision tools, equipment, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in surface prepping, disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft structural components.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Develop a foundational understanding of aircraft materials, repair methods, and FAA regulations.
• Grow into more specialized technician positions based on performance.
