Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Repair or modify shoes from dealers and consumers.
- Receive and inspect worn shoes to decide if the shoe can be repaired per the customer request.
- Perform sole tear-off process to prep the boot for the bottoming process in the Manufacturing Plant.
- Receive phone orders for modifications & special repairs from dealers.
- Enter order into Movex to request new shoe be sent from warehouse.
- Once the boot is received, perform specified modification to boot per customer request.
- Repair or replace soles, heels, and other parts of footwear, using sewing, buffing and other shoe repair machines, materials, and equipment.
- Answer calls regarding shoe repair from consumers and dealers and provide repair status.
- Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSC's electronic communication software.
- Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards.

- Complete other duties as assigned from time to time by your manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired and one to three years related experience/training.

Pay
The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $22.25-$25.50 per hour depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand.
Schedule
Core Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 3pm-1:30am. When we are on mandatory overtime the days can be extended to: Monday-Thursday 2pm-2:30am.
