About the role

The Shipyard HSE Coordinator with US Coatings (USC) is responsible for ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations at the shipyard. Key responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, managing incident reporting, and coordinating emergency response efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections and document findings
• Manage and respond to incident reports and near-misses
• Coordinate emergency response activities and drills
• Develop and implement safety training programs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Prepare and maintain safety records and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with safety management software
