Shipping/Trailer Spotter - 3rd shift

Pay: $18.31–24.90/hour plus a 10% shift premium for 3rd shift, with fast-track pay increases.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday)
• Overtime opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Move 28-foot and 53-foot trailers on and off dock doors using a yard tractor (Ottawa)
• Understand Third Party Carrier equipment
• Average of 85 trailers moved per 10-hour shift (up to 110) operating out of 85 dock doors
• Cover off-shift for vacations with notice
• Work in all types of weather conditions
• Work on the dock if needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work safely and take direction from multiple supervisors
• Ability to work well with others
