Job Summary
We're seeking a candidate with current Florida CDR and/or California Designated Representative licensure to serve as our DR and Shipping Supervisor for our new facility. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of drug storage, shipping, recordkeeping, suspicious orders/diversion concerns, returns, recalls, record retention, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supports NABP accreditation and state licensing activities
- Supervises repackaging activities
- Supervises a team and executes the shipment schedule and daily shipping/receiving activities
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepares packing slips and other shipping documents for outgoing shipments
- Reports discrepancies to the supervisor
- Fulfills shipping schedule and requests
- Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards
- Coordinates with shipping carriers, internal customers, and external customers
- Packs and labels various types of shipments
- Ensures proper stocking of packing supplies
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience in pharmaceutical distribution, wholesale distribution, or pharmacy operations, with at least one year within the last three years for California's DR requirements
- Florida CDR and California Designated Representative licensure (if not currently licensed, must be demonstrably qualified and willing to obtain certification promptly upon hire)
- Physical presence full-time as required by applicable state law
- High school diploma with a couple years of experience; Associates degree preferred
