Shipping Receiving / Yard Attendant

About the role

N C Power Systems carries the complete line of Caterpillar® engine and power systems products covering a vast territory that includes central and western Washington, central and eastern Montana, northwestern Wyoming, northwestern North Dakota and the state of Alaska. We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading equipment for customers in a safe manner
• Shipping and receiving of small parcels and large equipment
• Inventory management and creating documents
• Creating outgoing freight

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required
• If you have previous fork lift experience, it is a plus
• This position requires operating small and large forklifts
• A working knowledge of engines, generator and electrical parts along with knowledge of hazardous material handling will be very helpful in this role

• The ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers is required

Pay

Hourly wage from $23.15 to $27.55 per hour
