Shipping & Receiving Specialist

About the role

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist at The VoidForm Products, LLC is responsible for the efficient handling and management of non-hazardous materials, products, and specialty products within the warehouse. This role involves operating a forklift to load, unload, and move specific products, as well as managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Reads and completes work tickets, counts finished products, and submits tickets to the production manager.
• Loads and unloads inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas.
• Maintains accuracy in matching incoming deliveries with company purchase orders.
• Operates forklifts safely and complies with safety guidelines and regulations.
• Maintains and inspects machinery before use, and stores it properly at the end of each shift.
• Ensures proper maintenance of all equipment and technology provided.
• Maintains an active and valid forklift certification.
• Drives in tight spaces to pick up loaded pallets.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on experience, skills, and business needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Forklift Operator – current and in good standing
• Preferred: Associate, Vocational, or Technical Degree
• Ability to think critically and respond quickly to adjust initiatives and priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet VoidForm behavioral standards and values.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Ability to get on and off a forklift multiple times during the day.
• Ability to work and withstand extreme temperatures during high seasons.
• Ability to walk for periods of time in the warehouse.
• Periods of sitting, standing, rotating the body, bending, and squatting.
• Lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Clothing and footwear should be appropriate for a warehouse environment.
• No baggy clothing.
• Closed shoes must be worn.
• Long hair must be tied up.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high stress volumes.
