Shipping/Receiving Operator

About the Role

We have an immediate opening for a Shipping/Receiving Operator to join our diverse team in Easley, SC. The Shipping/Receiving Operator will carry out various tasks by following standard procedures to complete shipping documentation, pack items, label packages, address shipments, and load them using the appropriate shipping methods.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials and other purchased goods, verify packing slips for accurate quantities, and submit them for proper documentation processing.
• Deliver goods to designated locations upon completing the receiving process.
• Operate various workstations to manage outbound shipments.
• Complete all necessary transactions in SAP.
• Accurately complete shipping documents, including export paperwork.
• Identify unusual conditions and promptly report them to the appropriate Supervisor or Lead.
• Operate forklifts and efficiently load and unload trucks using optimal shipment methods.
• Obtain cross-training to perform a variety of tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping practices and ensure equipment upkeep.
• Strictly adhere to all safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency with computer inquiries and transactions.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Must be able to climb, bend, reach, and lift 50lbs.
• Must be proficient in using an SAP/ERP system.
