Shipping Receiving - Mazda South

About the role

The Shipping and Receiving Associate at McDonald Mazda South is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, pulling parts, cataloging, and preparing items for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks and checks in on parts orders and puts them away in their specific destinations based on part type and style.
• Prepares orders for shipment from the dealership and ships all outgoing packages for deliveries using proper packaging materials.
• Maintains basic shipping and receiving logs.
• Refuses packages that are not addressed to our name and address.
• Aids with other duties as assigned.
• Follows scheduled hours as needed, defined by your manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 - 3 years of automotive parts experience is preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of shipping and receiving experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and receiving and shipping parts.
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software/internet proficiency.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in customer, employee, and management interactions.
• Maintain a valid state driver’s license to drive any customer or company vehicle.
• Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
• Familiarity with specific dealer brand parts is preferred.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills

Basic computer skills for data entry and receiving and shipping parts.

Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software/internet proficiency.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills in customer, employee, and management interactions.
