Shipping Receiving Material Handling Personnel - (1st Shift 5/8's)

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, unpack, verify, record, label and distribute incoming shipments of WIP, raw materials and items tied directly to a job.
• Inspect for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by ensuring accurate counts, proper labeling, packaging and documentation.
• Move raw materials, WIP and any items tied directly to a job between work centers, staging areas and vendor locations.
• Identify inventory items and allow inventory control specialist group to inventory and manage product.
• Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices, including LEAN and 6S initiatives.
• Operate forklifts or other industrial equipment to move materials and ensure timely delivery to work centers.
• Maintain accurate records using computer systems and manage related clerical tasks.
• Collaborate with team members, demonstrate strong time management, and support a clean, organized work environment.
• Perform duties indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Support additional production needs as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience: one – three years of relevant experience, ideally in shipping/receiving and ERP systems like Syteline/CSI.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
• Able to safely operate a forklift in compliance with safety regulations.
• Capable of reading and understanding sales orders, inventory records, and shipping/receiving documents.

• Skilled in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and solving problems.
