Shipping & Receiving Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Shipping Manager to join our team. As a Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing our shipping and distribution strategy. Your main duty will be to ensure secure, accurate, timely and productive shipping processes. The Shipping & Receiving Manager reports directly to the Director of Logistics. Plan and implement overall shipping strategyUse shipping software to organize and prioritize shipping activitiesOversee the whole shipping processSet shipping KPIsPrepare and present KPI reportsSuggest solutions for process optimizationInspect labels and barcodesSupervise and oversee shipping team membersSet and control shipping and distribution budgetBuild and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as warehouse workers, vendors, purchasing managers, suppliers etc.)Negotiate better pricingIdentify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely mannerCreate and present reports for upper management Note: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job.
