Shipping/Receiving Lead

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency and competence in S/R Clerk 1, 2, and 3 responsibilities.
• Build upon foundational knowledge in earlier stages of the warehouse role.
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
• Cross-train in other warehouse roles (Receiver, Shipper, Inventory Control) to provide backup support during peak periods or absences.
• Handle complex order types, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct in-depth inventory audits and assist in evaluating inbound performance metrics.
• Utilize advanced demand forecasting techniques and data analysis to optimize inventory levels.
• Analyze system transactions, physical inventory, and product specifications to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage returns processing, including inspection, documentation, and appropriate disposition of returned items.
• Analyze KPI results to identify trends and areas for improvement, and generate regular reports on On-Time Delivery Performance.

• Able to lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Effective teamwork skills.
