About the role
This position is responsible for receiving and shipping inventory, picking/pulling orders from stock, and maintaining accuracy and organization of inventory in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Operates basic warehouse vehicles (company truck + forklift).
- Verifies products using item numbers, descriptions, and quantity.
- Utilizes the inventory management software to maintain accuracy, bin location, and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
- Maintains organization of warehouse bins.
- Performs cycle counts of bins as required.
- Ships out returns.
- Alerts supervisor regarding items that look out of place.
- Performs to specified productivity and quality expectations.
- Performs all duties within safety guidelines.
- Assists department supervisors in identifying risks to associates or the business and mitigates those risks.
- Validates Inventory Reports (i.e. adjustment reports, packslip modifications, and bin discrepancies).
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission.
- Loads, unloads, and moves product by hand or skid.
- Visually inspects boxes and products for damage or improper packaging.
- Puts away product into bins, overstock, or racks.
- Removes trash from day-to-day operations.
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
Requirements
- High school education.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for counting of inventory and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional time management skills.
Qualifications
Bonus Points If You Have
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in the aerospace or related industry, is highly desirable.

- Hearing, seeing (including depth perception and peripheral vision), ability of mental coordination.

- May be required to work overtime to meet customer's needs.

Pay
Compensation starting at $11.39 - $17.88 per hour depending on candidate location and experience.
