Shipping & Receiving Forklift - 1st Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and finished products between production areas, storage, and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
• Transfer raw materials from storage to production.
• Transfer finished products from the production line to the freezer.
• Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to storage area; organize according to facility specifications.
• Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
• Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from the department.
• Comply with facility and organizational policies governing workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices, and any other operational policies.
• Understand and place in practice appropriate safety procedures.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
• Able to follow verbal instructions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience required.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people, and conveyors.
• Typical office and plant environment.
• Physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use of hands or fingers, talking, hearing, feeling objects, tools, controls, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
• Standing/walking for greater than 4 hours.
