Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
- Cook with carriers and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track shipments
- Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies by communicating with customers and suppliers
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries and issues promptly
- Prepare shipping documentation and labels for all outgoing shipments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during shipping and receiving activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or logistics
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
- Experience with shipping software/platforms (e.g., ShipStation, FedEx, UPS)
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling
- Experience in a customer service role
- Forklift certification
