Shipping-Receiving Clerk(Full-Time) - Warehouse - Brookings, SD

About the role

This position is responsible for shipping and receiving product at the Retail Store. The role reports to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. In addition to the core duties, the role may require assistance with load outs, breaking down freight, and retrieving shopping carts.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and rotating weekends/holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise into the warehouse area.
• Cross-check quantities against the packing slip and make corrections as necessary.
• Safely operate merchandise handling equipment.
• Ensure accurate allocation of merchandise to the splitting area or department.
• Load merchandise onto the proper truck for shipment, including shrink-wrapping when necessary.
• Maintain equipment in good working order.
• Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts preferred.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $14.00–$16.00, depending on experience.
