About the role

National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC) is a premier full-service RV company that values lasting relationships with employees, customers, and the community. We are growing fast and looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to become a long-term valued member of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive and confirm parts orders, inspect orders for damage, handle stocking and returns of parts.
  • Load and unload freight shipments.
  • Locate, retrieve (pull), and bill stocked parts from inventory for both dealership and body shop.
  • Manage inventory, including conducting physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Receive and confirm parts orders, inspect for damage, and handle shelving and return of warranty parts through vendors and manufacturers.
  • Assist internal “customers” such as Service Advisors, RV Techs, and walk-in customers.
  • Promote company expectations by maintaining industry best practices, fostering teamwork, and supporting individual success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Transfer parts between dealership and body shop as needed; must be able to drive a company vehicle.
  • Maintain other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • General working knowledge of parts required for RV repair and an understanding of subparts for installation.
  • 1-2 years of RV parts experience preferred but not required; inventory or customer service experience is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, phones, and office equipment.
  • Ability to work well with others in a friendly and cooperative workplace.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift operation experience is highly preferred.
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and drug-free (must pass a drug test).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and open-minded attitude with problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Positive and can-do attitude.
  • Legally able to work in the USA (E-Verify employer).

Working Conditions

  • May require extended periods of computer exposure.
  • Warehouse conditions similar to outdoor temperatures.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift 50-100 lbs daily.
