Shipping & Receiving Associate, Kitting

The manufacturing automation development engineering team is seeking a Kitting and Receiving Associate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused. This role involves operating forklifts or walkies to safely move materials, managing inventory, and preparing kits for equipment builds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material onto or from delivery vehicles, storage racks, and the build floor using heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, walkies, etc.
• Collect materials and packages from general receiving areas for processing of goods receipt and offsite locations shipments.
• Receive, organize, and stock materials, update inventory systems, and manage project BOM trackers using tools like Microsoft Excel.
• Collaborate with the procurement specialist to pick up, receive, organize, and store materials for project builds, and maintain the project BOM tracker.
• Organize, kit, and handoff hardware for equipment builds against project deadlines to ensure a smooth workflow and inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in warehouse/inventory processes and systems
• Experienced and comfortable operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, walkie rider, and other power industrial vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members effectively

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
