Shipping and Receiving

  • Loads, unloads, inspects, and completes paperwork for all material coming into and out of the plant.
  • Operate a fork truck to pull and stage outgoing material.
  • Complete final inspection of all outgoing material to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Load outgoing material for transport.
  • Communicate with both LTL and truckload carriers.
  • Drive spotter truck to support the movement of trailers.
  • Complete shipping paperwork, forms, checklists, audits, and other paperwork as required.

Inventory Management

  • Participate in annual audit inventory of finished goods.

Housekeeping

  • Perform housekeeping duties necessary to insure a clean department.

Safety

  • Maintain a safe workplace by anticipating, recognizing and reporting any potential workplace hazards, attending required safety training, and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Frequently push/pull and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, and twist.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • One year of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and basic computer skills are required.
