Pay

Base wage: $19 per hour

Schedule

Shift available from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm until trained, then shift changes to 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight using forklift or Combi (certification required or obtainable within 90 days; training provided).
• Receive and verify all incoming shipments; complete and sign receiving logs.
• Maintain shipping and receiving files, including scrap logs and other required documentation.
• Create delivery documents and post load plans (training provided as needed).

Requirements

• Forklift/Combi certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Basic math and counting skills with frequent interruptions.
• English communication skills, including telephone use.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn U.S. Department of Transportation and Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Oracle; can learn on the job).
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.
• Proven ability to maintain confidential information.
