Shipping - PM

Responsibilities

• Order Preparation — Pick, stage, and verify outbound orders according to daily shipping schedules and customer requirements.
• Loading & Unloading — Safely load pallets, totes, and packaged goods onto trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
• Documentation & Accuracy — Complete bills of lading, shipping labels, and inventory forms; verify lot codes, quantities, and product condition before shipment.
• Quality & Food Safety Compliance — Follow all HACCP, GMP, and sanitation standards; report any damaged, expired, or compromised product.
• Inventory Coordination — Work with warehouse and production teams to maintain accurate stock levels and rotate inventory using FIFO.
• Equipment Operation — Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely; perform basic equipment checks.
• Communication — Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, production, and warehouse supervisors to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Safety — Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including PPE use, safe lifting, and equipment operation guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Warehouse experience.
