Description
The Gund Company is hiring a Shipping & Packaging Specialist to join their team. This role is available for 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) starting at $20/hour with a 15% shift premium.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and package products for shipment according to customer specifications
- Review work orders, packing slips, and shipment details for accuracy
- Build boxes, crates, or skids using hand tools and equipment
- Operate forklift (if certified) and assist with loading/unloading trucks
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety standards
- Participate in cross-training to learn additional processes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in shipping, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read work orders and follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
